Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library oral history collection, 1976-1977.

These deal with the history of Hopkinsville and Christian County, Kentucky. Included are several talks by William T. Turner, a faculty member at Hopkinsville Community College, in which he discusses old homes in Hopkinsville, the Night Riders of the tobacco wars, opera houses, theaters, local personalities and characters, and Christian County native, Edgar Cayce. Other interviews concern the Christian County library, and local history and government. Several residents, including Mayor Al Rutland, were interviewed about the city and county, as was State Auditor George Atkins.
